Dear Robbie Burns, thank you for your beautiful poems and songs but most of all, thank you for giving us an occasion to indulge in a wee dram of Whisky. While the Scotches from Islay are typically associated with big peaty monsters, the Laddie Classic reveals what an Islay Single Malt tastes like without the peat. Vanilla, honey and dried pear on the nose. The palate is elegant and smooth with a delightful tang of the fresh sea air. It finishes with intense dried fruit and a subtle nuttiness.
